How to make your HE proposal stronger? …. Lunch and Learn with ECIU Evaluators
The new composition of the Presidium was elected during the Conference of the College of Vice-Rectors for General Affairs, Organization and Contacts with the Socio-Economic Environment, and the College of Vice-Rectors for Science and Development of public technical universities (June 5-7). This year's edition of the event took place at Poznan University of Technology.
Until 15 October 2024, researchers from ECIU members can submit proposals for the two actions of the Seed Programme to initiate new or strengthen existing research collaborations. The Seed Programme has two action lines: SP 1: Blended Mobility to Create Networks and SP 2: Seed Projects.
If you want to explore, develop, and expand your knowledge and activities related to HE and/or H2020 projects JOIN (REGISTRATION) the event aiming to bring together coordinators from across the ECIU consortium to promote their project results and to invite researchers across ECIU to hear about the latest results, and enabling them all to connect for potential future research proposals.
Marta Kopytowska is studying Civil Engineering. Since childhood, she has been training karate and participating in international events. This allowed her to thoroughly understand the mechanisms behind human movement and how complex the anatomy of limbs is. In the E2TOP programme, she decided to unconventionally combine her interest in body movement with construction, implementing the project "Intelligent Nodes in Steel Structures Utilizing the Earth's Center of Rotation".
You're cordially invited to attend the EngiSCAF project's closing seminar! We're thrilled to announce that the event will take place on Friday, April 26th, and we're confident it will be informative and exciting. You can join us either in person or online to discover our novel composite biopolymer scaffolds with customisable porous structure and preset biological activity.
Lodz University of Technology is looking for candidates to apply for the MSCA PF 2024 grant
Maciej Szulczewski is one of the two winners of the 2nd edition of E2TOP (an equal prize of PLN 6,000 was also received by Wiktor Barańczak). He worked on constructing a pneumatic robot for the diagnostics of the human gastrointestinal system.
Transport & Mobility research team operating at the Lodz University of Technology under the umbrella of ECIU (European Consortium of Innovative Universities), coordinated by Dr. Eng. Barbara GALIŃSKA from the Faculty of Organization and Management, consisting of 11 members, invites researchers interested in the following areas:
Sheep or bull? The question may seem peculiar in relation to a student's research in Automatic Control and Robotics. But not when we add that it's about the shape of bicycle handlebars. Their aerodynamics are tested in the E2TOP program by Kornel Zawadzki, a cycling enthusiast.
Wiktor Barańczyk is participating in the E2Top program for the second time. He is studying computer science. He is passionate about artificial intelligence, especially computer vision, which focuses on understanding and analyzing images. He likes computer games and sudoku.
Prof. Krzysztof Matyjaszewski, a world-renowned chemist specializing in polymer chemistry, an employee and former student of Lodz University of Technology, received (on 9.01) an honorary doctorate from Rzeszów University of Technology. For several years, he has been mentioned as a potential laureate of the Nobel Prize in the field of chemistry.
The compromise between functionality and concern for the environment is an important aspect of scientific research. This also applies to mass-produced packaging, the production, use, and disposal of which are quite a challenge. Konrad Stefaniak, a student of Chemical Technology, participant of the E2TOP programme, is trying to take it on.
Until 17 November, scientists from Lodz University of Technology can apply for scientific scholarships from the TUL Own Scholarship Fund. PŁ.
