DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):
The Department of Molecular Physics is looking for a motivated, creative and qualified candidate for PhD position, who would like to engage in research conducted as part of an interdisciplinary project funded by the National Science Center under the OPUS program, entitled: "Electrodes' surface modification with new perylene derivatives and study of electrode-semiconductor interfaces in printed organic optoelectronic devices”.
The studies envisaged in the project include: optimization of the deposition process of thin interlayers, electrical characterisation of the systems with interlayers, design of the ink-jet printing process which includes the preparation of the ink composition, fabrication of OPVs and OLEDs, electrical characterisation of the devices based on their parameters
Main criteria (obligatory):
An above average master’s degree in physics, material science or electrical engineering are required. Ideally, you have already a background in organic electronics and experience in experimental techniques such as: AFM, thin film deposition, electrical and optical characterization of the electronic devices based on the organic semiconductors. As researcher you work independently and creatively, enjoy working in cross-cultural and diverse teams and have a strong command of English.
