Technology transfer at Lodz University of Technology takes place through the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Our primary goal is to introduce new technologies to the economy, but also to spread knowledge through training courses on broadly understood intellectual property.

The high skills and qualifications of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship are supported, among others, by certificate of the Quality Management System according to the ISO 9001: 2015 standard (as the only university-wide unit in Poland with ISO in the field of knowledge transfer and commercialisation of innovative technologies) and the status of an Accredited Innovation Center.
Granting the ISO certificate indicates the high quality of the unit's services and undoubtedly strengthens the competitiveness in the knowledge-based economy, thus building an advantage not only in business activities, but also in the field of science. Moreover, it indicates a standard compliant with European Union requirements. The innovativeness of the organization indicates adaptation to global education trends, globalization, technological development and the growing demand for knowledge transfer from universities and the implementation of research projects for industry. Maintaining the certification since 2008 required us to undergo regular checks in the form of audits, and as a result, we constantly strive to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of all processes.
Accreditation of the Innovation Center granted to the unit by the Ministry of Development increases the rank of Lodz University of Technology by expanding the existing offer of scientific and research services provided for entrepreneurs, which are co-financed under EU programs. We have been granted accreditation for a period of two years - until 2022. Having this status allows the unit to professionally provide pro-innovative services.
