Lodz University of Technology is among 20 Polish universities that implement the "Excellence Initiative – Research University (IDUB)" programme.
TUL has a rector's committee responsible for implementing the plans defined in the application for the IDUB programme.
Participation in this programme gives TUL an additional budget of 2% of the basic subsidy. These funds enabled the implementation of new measures to improve the quality of research at Lodz University of Technology. One of them is the introduction of awards supporting the scientific excellence of employees, doctoral students and students. The regulations are available on the Wikamp platform.
