The presentation of certificates took place during a plenary session of the Accreditation Commission of Universities of Technology (KAUT) on November 18th at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow.

The following TUL fields of study were granted accreditation: information technology and technical physics in the Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics; automatic control and robotics as well as materials engineering in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and architecture in the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Engineering.

Accreditation of all these fields of study is valid for five years, i.e. from the academic year 2018/2019 to 2022/2023. First-cycle degree programs in technical physics and first- and second-cycle degree programs in the remaining fields of study are now KAUT-accredited.

ENAEE is a European organization dealing with university education in engineering. One of its tasks is quality assurance: the organization carries out certification of degree programs and grants quality certificates when high quality of education and compliance with the European standards and principles of the Bologna Process have been ascertained.
