Determinantion of components of an effective elasticity tensor of periodical fibre composites, its statistical parameters and prognosis of tensor changes in time



The resilience of fibre composites affects the strength and other mechanical parameters of materials.

 

A team from the Department of Structural Reliability has designed and developed technology enabling the definition f statistical parameters of an effective elasticity tensor for composites of any finite number of components within a representative volume element with interphase and structural defects, assuming random parameters of the material components and geometric parameters – for defects. 

 

This technology is intended for the industrial use of composite materials.
