This will be a special inauguration, during which the insignia will be handed over by Prof. Sławomir Wiak, who is finishing his 2016-2020 term, to the new rector, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, who is starting his 2020-2024 term, as the 14th Rector in the 75-year history of Lodz University of Technology.
- In the winter semester of the academic year 2020/2021, the didactic classes at Lodz University of Technology for all forms and levels of education will be carried out in a hybrid way, i.e. both through direct contact with the lecturers at the university, as well as with the use of distance learning methods and tools - informed Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, Rector of Lodz University of Technology.
The program of the inauguration ceremony includes a speech by the new Rector of Lodz University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, as well as the presentation of awards to the best students of Lodz University of Technology. An important element of the inauguration will be the solemn oath of students admitted to the first year of studies with the best results in recruitment.
The inaugural lecture entitled "Technology in Medicine" will be delivered by Prof. Jacek Moll from the Polish Mother's Memorial Hospital - Research Institute in Łódź, a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Lodz University of Technology.
