Optimisation of process risk evaluation enables the development of emergency scenarios and increases safety levels.

A team from the Department of Safety Engineering has designed and developed the SysExAWZ package as a tool for process risk analysis and evaluation. The main function of this software package is to generate emergency scenarios based on data from failure databases, as well as estimate the incidence of emergency scenario effects with evaluation of the risk for their occurrence.

This technology is dedicated to the chemical, petrochemical and petroleum refinery, power and food industry.
