Multiaxial fabrics provide an alternative for classical fabrics with high anisotropy. The Institute of Architecture of Textiles at Lodz University of Technology has for many years been involved in research on innovative, multiaxial woven structures. Technologies, innovative on a global scale, have been developed for manufacturing of 3-, 4-, 5, and even 6-axis textile products.
This technology is dedicated for manufacturers of composite fibre strengthened structures, for needs of the building, automotive and aviation industry.
