Building materials to be approved in the building industry have to meet specific national and international tandards. The Laboratory has Accreditation Certificate No. AB 499 from the Polish Accreditation Centre, Notified Body No. 1614, involved in testing products compliant with of the EU’s 89/106/EEC Construction Products Directive.
The offer of the Laboratory of the Department of Building Physics and Building Materials includes:
- evaluation of adhesive mortars, finishing materials, thermoinsulation materials, insulation systems, brick and plaster mortars;
- tests for compliance with the standards for ready-made (factory manufactured) building materials in order to launch them for marketing, sales and use.
