Flexible solar cells



Introduction of flexible cells to industrial production significantly expands the possibilities for developing modern equipment, such as flexible solar cells, humidity sensors, protective and optical layers or optical thermoresistive coatings (heating elements).

 

The innovative technology, designed and developed at the Department of Semiconductor and Optoelectronic Devices is patent- pending and enables the construction of flexible, semi-transparent contact layers of anti-reflexive, sensory and  hermoresistive properties on the basis of organic compounds which are intended for use in optoelectronic and photovoltaic instruments. 

 

This technology may interest manufacturers of medical equioment and instrumentation. It may also be used in the defense, automotive, textile and space industries.
