The first day of the conference International Students in Poland 2020 was concluded with a gala during which the Internationalization Star Academic Awards were presented.

For the last three years, the award has been granted to various individuals for their outstanding contribution to research on internationalization, management of the internationalization process, international marketing, education of foreigners, and academic diplomacy efforts.

This year's laureates include dr inż. Dorota Piotrowska, director of the Center for International Cooperation, who was honored as Management Star.

Awards were also conferred on the winners of the competition for the best international student in Poland, INTERSTUDENT 2020.

The Award Chapter includes representatives of various organizations involved in matters of education and science: the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, CRASP, NAWA, PERSPEKTYWY , FRSE, IROs, Forum, the Parliament of the Students of the Republic of Poland, National Representation of Doctoral Students, PRom Association, and Erasmus Student Network.

The award ceremony took place on January 27th at the Ambassador Hotel in Lodz during the conference International Students in Poland hosted by Lodz University of Technology.
