Lodz University of Technology takes up cooperation with CLIB 2021 Claster of Industrial Biotechnology 2021 (http://www.clib2021.de/en) consolidating more than 90 members (industrial companies, business environment institutions and research institutions) working in the area of industrial biotechnology. Many of these entities are located outside Germany, however, until now there have been no Polish representatives in the Claster.
The wish of bilateral cooperation will be confirmed by the letter of intent signed by the Rector of the Lodz University of Technology, professor Stanislaw Bielecki and the Chairman of the Board CLIB2021, Dr Manfred Kircher. On the grounds of the signed letter of intent Parties will cooperate in the bioeconomy area. The cooperation will regard building bilateral links between the Lodz University of Technology (including BioNanoPark) and members of CLIB2021 in order to prepare joint projects in Academic Science & Education and Industrial R&D and applying for financial means for realization of these projects. The cooperation will also cover the exchange of students, graduates and scientists. The importance of the agreement is emphasized by the fact that the letter of intent will be signed in the presence of the Marshal of the Lodzkie Region, Witold Stępień.
The signature ceremony of the letter of intent will take place on November 9th , before the official opening of The Ist International Congress of Bioeconomy.
