Dr Marcin Gębski

Scientific discipline: Physical Sciences

Dr Marcin Gębski (no. of publications in 2013-2017: 33; International cooperation: 82%) main research activities concentrate on Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Lasers (VCSELs), subwavelength diffraction gratings, and photonic integrated circuits. He has extensive experience in computer modelling, designing, processing, and measurements of optoelectronic devices.

He is an author of 11 publications in the most prestigious journals in the field which have been cited 129 times. He is an author of 2 patents and more than 40 conference papers.

He has spent more than 4 years on national and international research internships, e.g. in Lisbon and Berlin.

His greatest achievement has been the presentation of the first VCSEL with MHCG mirrors.
