Heat meters, commonly used in the building industry, have a relatively high threshold of the minimum heat recorded value. Consequently they are unable to record the total heat energy consumption.

A team from the Institute of Environmental Engineering and Building Installations has designed an innovative method to record heat consumption at minimum levels. Thanks to a hydraulic system with a valve, the accuracy and sensitivity of the system has significantly been increased.

This technology is intended for heat suppliers and providers of housing resources.
