A team from the Department of Environmental Engineering has designed and developed the innovative technology of chisotan gel production. The gel is formed at human body temperature and contains calcium and phosphorus in atomic ratio, close to that in which these two elements occur in hydroxyapatite, and is intended to be used as material for cell culture scaffolding structures.
This technology is intended for use in the medical branch.
