The application of dedicated numerical models of the human body and of automatic optimisation algorithms enable a design of a wireless system, active near the human body, with consideration to propagation conditions affecting the power balance in the link.

 

Modelling and design of wireless body area networks (WBAN) for the needs of the 5th generation (5G) systemsThe Department of Telecommunications offers services, associated with the design of aerials intended to be active near the human body in microwave band ranges, measurements of the aerial characteristics and modelling of human body effects on wireless systems, active near the body, as well as of the effects of wireless systems on the human body, based on modern measuring techniques. This service is dedicated to enterprises in the telecommunication branch, developing services and devices with regards to 5G systems.
