Studies and analyses of correct operation of the drying part of a paper machine and of ventilation and recuperation systems

The performance level of the drying section and of ventilation and recuperation systems at paper mills significantly influences cost-effectiveness/labour economy.

The service, provided by the Institute of Papermaking and Printing, encompasses: measurements of parameters of the air supplied to the drying section of a paper machine, and of exhausted vapours, parameters of the air in inter-cylinder pockets, air and vapour streams in heat recuperation systems, paper dryness in the press section of the drying plant and on the rewinder, as well as measurements of paper temperatures at the drying plant and of temperatures on drying cylinders. 

Based on these measurements, paper machine performance is analysed, with a particular account of ventilation and  recuperation systems. These analyses are completed with a report, presenting estimated performance indicators, poorly or ineffectively functioning sites, as well as methods for process efficacy improvement. 

This service may be delivered to production businesses in the paper industry.
