When novel technologies are launched with new construction components, it is necessary to check the effectiveness of a given solution in real or selected operational conditions.

Studies of construction components under real conditions The proposal of the Chair of Environmental Engineering encompasses both experimental research and computer modelling of particular constitutive elements of outer building enclosures, including their impacts on the indoor environment. The scope of studies encompasses facade systems, roof covering materials, including green roofs, component elements of partition walls, insulation systems, glazing systems, shutters and sun shades plus renewable energy systems integrated in buildings.

This service is dedicated to manufacturers of building components.
