The technology, designed and developed by a team at the Department of Textile Machine Mechanics, is represented in a textronic device, intended to monitor the frequency of respiratory rhythm and automatically identify the dyspnoea phase during sleep, thus providing a cheap diagnostic measure and boosting the treatment of this condition.
This technology may find applications in production of measuring-diagnostic clothing for persons with respiratory problems.
