This technology may be used to measure the cleaning degree of surfaces before application of protective or decorative coatings or after these processes to determine coverage uniformity.

One of the main features of surface treatment is a correctly prepared surface. The classical methods of surface treatment control utilixe, first of all, contact measurements, which additionally constrains their application.

The optomechatronic procedure of ongoing surface treatment quality control which has been designed and developed by our team at the Institute of Materials Engineering, assumes a continuous real time analysis of currently treated surface fragments.

This technology may interest manufacturers of surface treatment control and measurement apparatus.
