The eco-nook is a small recess separated from the larger space by two walls, one made of honeycomb-shaped elements and the other in the shape of a leaf. Set up in the space are two touchscreen computers which allow you to browse through a selection of websites presenting information about safe disposal of mercury-containing household items. The only way to do this is to deposit them at one of the Selective Collection of Municipal Waste Points (Punkt Selektywnej Zbiórki Odpadów Komunalnych). The nook is a great place for students to learn about the project's activities geared towards environment protection.
I think it would be worthwhile if this idea were extended to include other Faculties of the University, to build pro-environmental awareness among the students of Lodz University of Technology.
