In the 2025 “Perspektywy” Higher Education Institutions Ranking, TUL ranked sixth among technical universities and ninth among public universities in Poland.


In the last year, Lodz University of Technology was listed in the most prestigious international rankings. It was among 45 Polish universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and among 20 Polish higher education institutions in the QS World University Rankings. In the QS World University Rankings: Europe, TUL was ranked 2nd in Poland and 138th in Europe in the category “Outbound Exchange Students”, and 2nd in Poland and 83rd in Europe in the category “Inbound Exchange Students”.

Lodz University of Technology is also included in rankings that assess universities’ activities in relation to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. In the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability, the University was placed in the 1051–1060 band, while in THE Impact Rankings it was placed in the 601–800 band, and in the latter, it achieved a position in the 201–300 band for its activities towards SDG 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth”.
