From June 23 to 27, 2025, the Faculty of Management and Production Engineering at Lodz University of Technology hosted the on-site part of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled “Practical Solutions for Managing Challenges in Industry Through Simulations”. The event brought together students from various countries within the ECIU network, who spent a week tackling real-world managerial challenges in a simulated business environment.

The summer holidays were not yet over, but a wave of creative energy had already filled the laboratories of Lodz University of Technology. Young researchers from Poland and across Europe bent over their laptops, their heads full of ideas, working on papers that would impress at the prestigious ACM CHI 2026 conference. This was the fifth edition of the CHIncredible Manuscript Marathon, which transformed the university into a hub of international HCI.
