In 2025, in an attempt to ensure closer cooperation and better coordination of activities, the Rector established a single HR Excellence in Research Committee for 2025 – 2027. The Committee comprises researchers (R1 to R4), the Chair of the Committee for Good Academic Practice, one representative of doctoral candidates, and representatives of the University administrative units involved in implementing the HRS4R process. However, the responsibilities within the Committee are clearly divided: as previously, the academic community initiates and monitors the activities, while the administrative staff are responsible for their implementation.
Four focus groups operate within the Committee. They are assigned to specific areas of the Charter for Researchers and are responsible for identifying gaps within these areas in the course of the GAP Analysis to be undertaken in the preparation of the new Action Plan for the coming years.
The direction and course of implementation of the HR Excellence in Research process are decided by the Rector, whereas all activities are undertaken in consultation with the Vice-Rector for Research and the Vice-Rector for Development, who jointly supervise the work of the Committee.
