The renewed Erasmus + program, now with budget doubled compering to previous years, will finance learning mobility and cross-border cooperation projects for Europeans of all ages and backgrounds.
Increasing interaction and relations between the lecturer and the student, as well as increasing motivation during online learning, are the main objectives of a project which received EUR 300 000 in funding. This is the highest amount awarded in the Erasmus+ programme.

Aleksandra Wilczyńska began her studies in IT, but since childhood she has been passionate about space. Dr Antolak, from the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences, specialises in the use of microorganisms in the production of fermented soft drinks. He also conducts research aimed at preventing their microbiological contamination. He is a holder of a scientific award of the Division IV of Technical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences for his doctoral dissertation "Bacteria Asaia spp. as a new contaminant of functional beverages" and 8 papers thematically related to this dissertation.
Professor Jan Awrejcewicz has received an honorary doctorate degree from the Prydniprovsky State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (PSACEA) in Ukraine. This is the first TUL honorary doctorate degree conferred in an online ceremony.
Professor Jacek Banasiak – a graduate of mathematics at the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics (currently Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics), TUL (1981). His main area of scientific interest is the theory of differential equations. For many years he has been among the world's leading specialists in this field.

The new agreement with Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (ESNAM) is a continuation of the longest running double degree agreement at Lodz University of Technology.
