The day began with the online publication of the results of the 25 edition of the ranking compiled by the Education Foundation ‘Perspektywy’. Lodz University of Technology moved up one place and is now the eight best academic university in Poland. Tul kept its position from last year and remains the fifth best technical university in the country.

Prof. dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Jóźwik, rector of Lodz University of Technology, was elected Chairman of the Konferencja Rektorów Polskich Uczelni Technicznych (Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities of Technology (KRPUT) for the 2024-2028 term by unanimous decision made on June 20 during the KRPUT Plenary Assembly hosted by Gdansk University of Technology.

The National Center for Research and Development has announced the results of the evaluation of proposals submitted for the European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 program called Education to meet the needs of the economy.
Lodz University of Technology was granted the fourth largest allocation of funding. Out of the 211 proposals submitted for approval, 47 projects will obtain financial support.
Announced during a gala attended by representatives of nearly 50 companies were the winners of the Competition for The Best Employer of Łódzkie Voivodeship Award by Students of Lodz University of Technology. Awards in the two subcategories: The Best 2023 internship/work placement program for students of Lodz University of Technology and The Best Employer of the Lodz ICT Cluster by students of Lodz University of Technology were also revealed.

In the 16th edition of the Forbes Diamon Award, Lodz University of Technology has been announced to be among the most dynamically developing companies in Poland. The regional gala for the łódzkie and Świętokrzyskie regions was held on May 21. Lodz University of Technology was rated 13th in the region, next to companies with revenues exceeding 250 million złoty.

111 electors, all of the electors elected by the university community, voted. 90 of them voted for prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, which the incumbent rector to become rector-elect. The new, 2024 - 2028 term shall begin on September 1st.
The vote for the best ideas dropped by the staff and students of Lodz University of Technology into this year's Idea Box has concluded. TUL's Rector, prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, presented the authors of the winning proposals with congratulatory diplomas.
