A team of TUL students has won an impressive victory in the finals of International Small Wind Turbine Contest. They return to Poland with two of the three main prizes. Their innovative wind turbine won first place, beating teams from Canada, the Netherlands, Egypt or Denmark.

The university's birthday is an opportunity for a joint meeting of the academic community with the city and university authorities, as well as the presentation of awards to academics and students.
In the Prof. Tadeusz Paryjczak Auditorium in the "Alchemium - the magic of tomorrow's chemistry" building, the Rector of Lodz University of Technology - Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik presented eight scientists with habilitation degrees and 65 with doctoral degrees in engineering and technology, natural sciences, agricultural sciences and social sciences.

The run of sporting successes for the students of Lodz University of Technology continues. Our karate fighters have once again won the general classification of the Polish Academic Championships, winning as many as 10 medals.
