The stock market is associated with high risk, so any tool that improves safety is worth its weight in gold. Using artificial intelligence, Agata Świetlik, a second-year student of Applied Computer Science at the Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology, and Applied Mathematics, is working on a new solution. As a participant in the E2TOP program, she is pursuing an individual study program. She is the vice-chair of the artificial intelligence section of a student research group - SKN KINo.

The results of the second edition of the international QS World University Rankings: Sustainability were announced on December 5, 2023. For the first time, Lodz University of Technology was included and ranked 10th among Polish universities and 2nd among Polish universities of technology.

In the 3rd edition of the international SHENG competition for Polish-Chinese research projects, the National Science Centre will fund 13 projects with a total value of more than PLN 15 million. Among them is a project from Lodz University of Technology on the remediation of contaminated land, led by Prof. Piotr Paneth.

At Lodz University of Technology, at Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering, a three-year project MDB - MEDICAL DATA BANK was summarized on November 21. The project is the result of collaboration between the university and the Polish Mother's Memorial Hospital - Research Institute (ICZMP). - What we have done together is of great significance. It will improve therapy algorithms and be helpful in saving lives in the future - say the project's implementers, both computer scientists and medical professionals.

A team of architects: lecturers, graduates and students of Lodz University of Technology, from three cooperating studios, have won the international architectural and urban planning competition for the development of a design concept for the Museum of Westerplatte and the War of 1939 - a branch of the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk on Westerplatte.
