Partners from Spanish universities: Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche and University of Vigo, as well as the Portuguese Universidade de Aveiro, came to TUL to jointly start the implementation of the project "Best practices for high-immersion experiences design", in which TUL plays the role of coordinator.

The aim of our project is to develop a learning strategy for future virtual reality experience designers. This is a big step towards introducing innovative teaching practices, especially through the use of VR as a tool for learning by doing, explains Grzegorz Zwoliński, PhD, a member of the team, which includes Dorota Kamińska, PhD and Agnieszka Dubiel, MSc.

The meeting took place in the recently commissioned, revitalized building of the Centre of Excellence in Universal Design, in the Design4All section, which is the new headquarters of the Voxel Research Lab team. During the outdoor activities it was cold, but the atmosphere of the meeting was very hot. Interestingly, some of the partners experienced snow for the first time in their lives, adds Dr. Zwoliński.

The total amount of project co-financing, funded under Erasmus +, is 400,000 euros. The implementation of the planned tasks is scheduled for 30 months.
