Gala of Graduates and Business Partners (Gala Absolwentów i Biznesu) was held by the Faculty of Organization and Management (OiZ). Graduates received certificates and awards, whereas business partners were recognized and thanked for their cooperation thus far.

The Chinese Jimei University has now joined the ever expanding group of international partners of Lodz University of Technology.
The opening of the new calendar sparked new activity from Lodz University of Technology in its relations with China. On January 10, 2024, leadership of the two universities convened online to sign a cooperation agreement. Both institutions took the opportunity to present their capacities and discuss prospects for further development of the cooperation.

Prof. Krzysztof Matyjaszewski, a world-renowned chemist specializing in polymer chemistry, an employee and former student of Lodz University of Technology, received (on 9.01) an honorary doctorate from Rzeszów University of Technology. For several years, he has been mentioned as a potential laureate of the Nobel Prize in the field of chemistry.
The latest results of the international University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) 2023-2024, developed by the Informatics Institute at Middle East Technical University in Turkey, have been published. Lodz University of Technology advanced by 5 places, taking the 13th position in Poland.

Dorota Piotrowska, TUL Prof., director of the TUL International Cooperation Centre, received a special award: "Innovation Expert of Erasmus+ InnHub Centres".
