The Program received 104 applications from around the world: UK, Portugal, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania. In the end, 25 teams were invited, and for the next 6 months they will develop their projects with the support of mentors, experts, coaches and establish relationships with industry and equity investors, the event organizers explain.
This year, the city of Lodz launched new opportunities in front of technology companies by building the largest Startups Accelerator Program Powered by Invest in Lodz (Central Poland) being the first city to open its doors on such a large scale to the largest city companies, investors and local companies from Lodz and the region, with a total of over 70 partners.
Prof. Pawel Strumillo, Vice-Rector for Development at TUL participating in the event, pointed out how important financial and commercial aspects are when planning projects. - Many companies are lost in the market, even though they have a great idea, but fail to deal with these important aspects that would ensure the venture's profitable development.
Lodz University of Technology and TME were partners of the event at the Sports Bay.
