Dr inż. Paulina Gątarek of the Faculty of Chemistry at Lodz University of Technology has been honored by the Committee on Analytical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, which granted her the award for the best doctoral dissertation in analytical chemistry.

He was awarded 1.8 million złoty for Matematyczne wspomaganie przewidywania skutków leczenia tętniaków wewnątrzczaszkowych [Mathematical modelling to predict the outcome of intracranial aneurysm treatment] - a project of which he is the author.

Only one candidate has been proposed nominated by the university community for the office of Rector of Lodz University of Technology in the 2024-2028 term. Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik, who has held the office since September 1, 2020, will seek re-election.
