The competitions include:
- An award for the best-cited author in 2025.
- An award for the author of the best scientific publications published in 2024.
- An award for the best-publishing doctoral student in 2024.
- An award for the youngest first author of a scientific publication published in 2024.
- An award for the most valuable implementation in 2024.
Detailed information about each competition can be found in the attached regulations. Whenever terms such as "author," "employee," "doctoral student," "student," "candidate," or "laureate" are used in the regulations, they refer to individuals of all genders.
Additionally, it is noted that the winners will be selected by the Senate Committee on Science, Promotion, and International Cooperation, which also reserves the right to recommend candidates for a special award to the Rector.

The winners will be announced on May 24, 2025, during a ceremonial session of the Senate of Lodz University of Technology on the occasion of its 80th anniversary.
