Rector Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik commenting on the results of the Perspektywy ranking stated the following, among other things,

As a TOP 10 university, we have been recognized for our scientific performance evaluation results and publications. Also, the patents we have been granted, including international ones, are among our strengths and confirm that our research creates innovation. We have scored high on student mobility. International projects carried out by TUL under the Erasmus program are another important reason why our internationalization has been so strong.

In the opinion of the Rector, the results of the latest ranking confirm that Lodz University of Technology is a progressive university,

TUL is not the largest university, which does not make it easier for it to be ranked so high, because a number of parameters are not considered relative to the number of employees but rather in terms of absolute data. I feel immensely proud to see that the efforts of our academic community have brought about these beautiful outcomes.
I believe that the results of the ranking confirm that Lodz University of Technology is a modern university. The new criterion introduced into the ranking methodology takes into account membership of a European university. TUL, as part of the European university ECIU, which is one of the oldest networks of innovative universities, is at the forefront of shifting the philosophy around education, to one that involves learning rather than teaching, and pioneers earning microcredentials to boost employability.
Our strength also lies in our partners, including the best foreign universities and powerful global corporations, with which we have been building partnerships. It is with optimism that we look to the future.
