The day began with the online publication of the results of the 25 edition of the ranking compiled by the Education Foundation ‘Perspektywy’. Lodz University of Technology moved up one place and is now the eight best academic university in Poland. Tul kept its position from last year and remains the fifth best technical university in the country.

TUL rector, prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, expressed his satisfaction with the results and offered words of appreciation to the efforts by the entire university community:

‘The advancement to the eighth place, in which Lodz University of Technology ended up in this year's ranking of academic universities, is really gratifying for us. It is an acknowledgment of our unrelenting efforts to improve the quality of education, research performance, and innovation in research. For years, we have been in the elite group of the TOP 10 Polish universities, which makes us truly proud and affords us a positive outlook to the future.

Our university is developing dynamically, and it is the commitment of the entire academic community that has been the driving force. Relentless pursuit of excellence is crucial to our success. We all - students, doctoral candidates, academic and administrative staff - have contributed to this success, each in their own way. The results confirm that our community stands strong and can achieve a great deal by working together. Let us rejoice in this achievement. Let us continue our efforts, remembering that Lodz University of Technology is our common good, our home ground, and every day it is being improved’.

The University of Warsaw, Jagiellonian University, and Warsaw University of Technology were ranked as the top 3 academic universities in Poland according to the Perspektywy ranking.
