Prof. Małgorzata Iwona Szynkowska-Jóźwik, made the following remarks after the announcement of her election as President of ACE:
‘This is a great honor for me and for Lodz University of Technology. The activities undertaken by the Association, which integrates researchers concerned with tackling environmental problems, are currently extremely important. We are all witnessing how our planet is being affected, and we know how crucial it is for the research community to interact with the economic sector, the larger society, and with regulators.
Previously, prof. Małgorzata Iwona Szynkowska-Jóźwik served as Vice President of the ACE Board. The decision to now put her at the head of the Association was made unanimously.
