The World Health Organization defines mental health as a person's physical, mental and social well-being, as well as the ability to grow and self-develop. In the face of the events of recent years - the COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, the generally tense international situation, as well as the daily rush, stress and uncertainty, the mental health of many people, especially young people, is exposed to many negative factors. Meanwhile, according to a 2021 report by the Independent Student Association Analysis Centre - "Mental Health of Students," 64% of students believe that access to free psychological help is inadequate.
The consultations began on October 25, 2023. Enrollment is done through the website, where you can set the day and time of the consultation and choose a therapist with expertise in a specific field. Each student participating in this year's consultation program can book up to three appointments.
The offer is also designed for individuals who do not need immediate assistance but wish to learn how to handle prolonged stress, navigate difficult emotions and pressure, and support their overall mental well-being. The aim is to provide guidance on avoiding succumbing to excessive social expectations.
