‘The signing of this letter of intent between Lodz University of Technology and the Łukasiewicz Research Network opens up new opportunities for us’, said Prof. Jóźwik. ‘This synergy allows us to focus on applied research that will generate tangible benefits. While we may not have the industrial capacity to implement certain solutions ourselves, the Łukasiewicz Research Network possesses the necessary resources to bring these innovations to life. I believe that our collaboration will not only support our application-focused activities but also contribute to the training of personnel required by our partner. We have academic credentials, and the Łukasiewicz Research Network is eager to see its staff grow academically in partnership with Lodz University of Technology. For both parties, this agreement marks a key step in strengthening our cooperation and building a shared future’.

This strengthened collaboration between the academic and business communities is expected to foster a competitive edge through technological and design innovations.

President Hubert Cichocki expressed his satisfaction with the formalization of this partnership, stating: ‘Lodz University of Technology is an extremely important scientific hub in Poland. I am hopeful that our cooperation will extend not only to the university but also to other institutes within the Łukasiewicz Research Network. I am particularly excited about implementation projects that have a high level of technological readiness and the potential for future commercialization. I believe this partnership will lead to many such projects, and I am filled with enthusiasm and optimism for the future’.
