The day before, the II Forum of Rectors of Poland and Uzbekistan was held at the University of Warsaw. The visit of representatives from universities in this Central Asian country took place at the invitation of KRASP.

The Rector of Lodz University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, welcoming the participants, expressed his joy at the presence of such a large delegation. Each of the Lodz universities had the opportunity to present their achievements, innovations, and scientific, educational, and infrastructural potential, while representatives from Uzbek universities also spoke about their institutions. The meeting was an important step towards the development and deepening of cooperation. Our guests listened attentively to the presentations, taking digital notes on their smartphones.

Currently, about 2,000 young people from Uzbekistan are studying in Poland. We hope that thanks to direct contact between academic staff and the conversations that took place in the corridors, this number will continue to grow. The authorities of the universities forming the Lodz Academic Partnership warmly invited further cooperation and the opening of new and creative opportunities.
