The first meeting of the partners took place at the project coordinator's office, at Roma Tre University in Rome, in December 2024. Representatives from Lodz University of Technology, Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal), Tartu Ülikool (Estonia), and TIA Formazione (Italy) attended.
- As part of the HYDRO project, we plan to create digital educational materials for individuals involved in the green transition and working in the hydrogen energy sector, says the project coordinator from Lodz University of Technology, Aleksandra Jastrzębska, PhD. We will develop online courses tailored to the needs of students and professionals, integrated with academic programs. We aim to actively participate in a transformation that fosters a lasting balance between environmental protection and economic growth.
The main task of the team from Lodz University of Technology is to identify and analyze contemporary and future training needs in green hydrogen. One of the first project activities planned for 2025 will be organizing a series of online workshops on green hydrogen and energy transformation in the EU. This will be an opportunity to present the latest scientific achievements related to energy and beyond, discuss pressing topics such as hydrogen production, transport, or storage, and identify competencies necessary for future employees in the hydrogen sector in Poland and Europe.
The project will last until the end of August 2027.
