The Vice-Rector for Science at Lodz University of Technology announces a competition for research scholarships funded by the University’s Own Scholarship Fund.
The details of the competition are set out in the Regulations of the Lodz University of Technology Own Scholarship Fund dated July 27, 2021. Please familiarize yourself with the current version of the aforementioned Regulations attached to this announcement.
Applicants must submit the following:
- an application for the research scholarship, including attachments (using the template specified in Appendix 1 to the Regulations),
- an application form (using the template specified in Appendix 2 to the Regulations) signed by the applicant and the head of the organizational unit,
- a curriculum vitae (CV),
- information on research achievements to date (using the templates specified in Appendices 3–6 to the Regulations, as applicable),
- a description of the research project to be carried out during the scholarship period,
- an opinion from the academic supervisor or the head of the organizational unit – in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations.
Research scholarships from the Own Scholarship Fund include:
- research scholarships for employees working towards the title of professor, the degree of *doktor habilitowany* (habilitation), or the doctoral degree;
- research scholarships for doctoral students working towards the doctoral degree;
- scholarships for academic achievement for Lodz University of Technology students working towards the professional title of *magister inżynier* (MSc Eng.), *magister* (MSc/MA), *inżynier* (BSc Eng.), or *licencjat* (BSc/BA).

The scholarship application, addressed to the Rector, along with the complete set of signed documents, must be:
a) sent or delivered in person to the Research Support Department of Lodz University of Technology (ul. Żeromskiego 116, Building A33, Entrance A, 2nd floor, Room 205), with the envelope marked "WŁASNY FUNDUSZ STYPENDIALNY PŁ"
and
b) sent as an identical electronic version to the address: rndwn@adm.p.lodz.pl in the form of a single PDF file – please enter "WŁASNY FUNDUSZ STYPENDIALNY PŁ" in the email subject line (Note: please include a statement in the body of the email confirming that the electronic version of the scholarship application is identical to the paper version).
