Our joint proposal, prepared in collaboration with partners from the European University Alliance ECIU, entitled DIVERSE+: Advancing Diverse and Qualitative Research Assessment Across Europe, was among 28 projects selected for funding from over 130 applications from across Europe.
The project will commence on 1 September 2025 and run for 12 months. Its aim will be to exchange knowledge and experience regarding the implementation of the key commitments of CoARA—in particular the recognition of the diversity of contributions to scientific activitity and the promotion of qualitative approaches to research evaluation. The solutions developed will also be available for adopotion by the remaining 10 ECIU members, thereby increasing the scale of impact and supporting the process of transformation of research assessment systems in Europe.
The consortium has been awarded EUR 39,852.75 for the implementation of the project, of which the Lodz University of Technology, as the project coordinator, will manage EUR 15,582 and will be responsible for the delivery of key tasks. The full CoARA message can be accessed via the following link.
