Since 2021, he has been the chairman of the Electrical Engineering Council. Head of the Transformers and Electromagnetic Compatibility Team at the TUL Institute of Mechatronics and Information Systems, head of the Transformers Laboratory.

In 2011 he completed a 5-month internship abroad in Great Britain, University of Manchester - School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.


Professor Kaczmarek is the author of 57 research papers according to the WoS database (total citation value 332, h-index 13) and 63 scientific articles according to the SCOPUS database (total citation value 434, h-index 14). Reviewer of 294 international scientific articles. Author of 9 national patents. Leader of one NCN (National Science Centre) grant, main contractor of 3 NCN grants, subcontractor of 1 NCBR (The National Centre for Research and Development) grant.

Prof. Kaczmarek’s research interests are in issues related to the transformation of disturbances conducted by the current and voltage transformers and sensors as well as the impact of radiated and conducted disturbances on their accuracy and operating characteristics.

Professor’s work is used in measurement methods and systems for testing the performance and operational quality of current and voltage transformers and sensors.
