She earned her post-doctoral habilitation degree in engineering and technical sciences in the discipline of automation, electronic, electrical engineering, and space technologies in December 2019.

Her research interests include textronics, wearable electronics with a particular focus on thin conductive layers, and the functionalization of textile products for wearable electronics systems. She also explores the application of electromagnetic fields and their effects on living organisms.

She has published over 130 scientific articles, including 105 in journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), and her work has been cited more than 1200 times according to the Scopus database.

She actively reviews papers for nearly 40 international journals and serves on the editorial committees of the international journals Sensors and Electrical Engineering & Electromechanics Journal.

She is a co-author of 3 patents related to the production of superhydrophobic layers on acrylonitrile butadiene rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber surfaces containing carbon nanotubes, methods for reducing the pilling tendency of textile products, and methods for assessing the pilling tendency of textile products. She also has a patent application for a method to evaluate the self-healing efficiency of plastics with repair substances contained in polymer microcapsules embedded in these materials.

She completed a research internship at the University of Maribor in Slovenia in 2018.

She is the vice-president of the Polish Society for the Applications of Electromagnetism and a member of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers, where she serves as the scientific secretary of the Commission for the Applications of Electromagnetism in Medicine.

Since 2024, she has been the Director of the Institute of Electrical Engineering Systems at Lodz University of Technology.

In 2016, the Lodz Center for Teacher Development and Practical Education awarded her the title of Innovation Creator. In 2020, she received an award in the "Science" category in the "Golden Engineer" competition organized by the Supreme Technical Organization, and in 2023, the Innovative Movement in Education awarded her the Golden Certificate as an Ambassador of Innovative Ideas and Pedagogical Practices.
