Her research interests include computer vision, machine learning, artificial intelligence (deep learning), and digital image processing and analysis. In particular, they focus on developing dedicated methods of automated image analysis for medical, industrial and scientific applications.
Its publishing output includes nearly 120 scientific articles.
She was the manager of projects financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (Iuventus Plus, habilitation grant) and NAWA (PHC Polonium).
She completed internships at the University of Kent in Great Britain (2012) and Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in France (2015, 2017).
She is a laureate of prestigious competitions, including: a scholarship of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as part of a programme for outstanding young scientists, a scholarship holder of the START programme of the Foundation for Polish Science and a laureate of the Award for Outstanding Achievements Contributing to the Development of Science for Young Scholars Working in the Łódź Province (PAN Łódź ).
She is a member of the Academy of Young Scholars of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a member of the IT Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He sits on the editorial boards of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and the International Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.
Moreover, he conducts reviewing activity for nearly 40 international journals.
