In the 2024 university ranking of the educational magazine "Perspektywy", TUL ranks fifth among technical universities and eighth among public universities in Poland.


We are the fourth most popular university in Poland according to the report of the Ministry of Education and Science.

In the past year, Lodz University of Technology was classified in the most prestigious international rankings. It was among 37 Polish universities in the international Times Higher Education World University Ranking, and among 22 Polish higher education institutions in the QS World University Ranking. This year, TUL was again recognized and qualified for four QS by Subject rankings: Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, and Chemistry.

For the fourth time, Lodz University of Technology was classified in THE Impact ranking, which focuses on the activities of universities in terms of implementing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. TUL again received the highest score for its efforts towards achieving Goal 8: Economic Growth and Decent Work, entering the global TOP 200 and ranking first in the country. In Goal 9: Innovation, Industry, Infrastructure, TUL placed in the global TOP 400, thus positioning itself in the country's top three. The university was classified for the first time in Goal 5: Gender Equality, taking a position in the 301-400 range.

This year, TUL debuted in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability, placing in the 881-900 range, occupying the 10th position among Polish universities and 2nd place among technical universities in Poland. The QS WUR: Sustainability ranking measures the ability of higher education institutions to meet the greatest environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges.
