Announcement of the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs of Lodz University of Technology of 30 September 2021 on the supplementary procedure and deadlines for students to apply for parking spaces in Zones I, II, III, IV, VI and VII of the Students Halls of Residence on Campus C of Lodz University of Technology.

Pursuant to the Ordinance No. 38/2021 of the Rector of Lodz University of Technology of 21 July 2021 on "The Organisational Regulations of Lodz University of Technology Campus", in connection with the announcement of the Vice-Rector for student affairs of Lodz University of Technology of September 17, 2021, I define the following rules for the supplementary procedure of applying for and granting access to parking spaces to students in Zones I, II, III, IV, VI and VII of the Students Halls of Residence on Campus C of Lodz University of Technology.


§ 1

  1. On 1 October 2021 the entitlement to parking spaces in student parking zones in Zones I, II, III, IV, VI and VII of the Student Halls of Residence on Campus C of Lodz University of Technology granted for the period August - September 2021 will expire.

  2. Persons who in the period August - September 2021 used the parking spaces in zones I, II, III, IV, VI and VII the Student Halls of Residence and paid the fee, retain the right to use these parking spaces until the end of the current settlement period, i.e. until October 16, 2021.

  3. Obtaining by the persons mentioned in section 2 the authorization to use parking spaces in zones I, II, III, IV, VI and VII of Student Halls of Residence in the winter semester of the academic year 2021/22 takes place according to the rules set out in the Announcement of the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs of September 17, 2021 and requires a new application for a parking space.

§ 2

In view of the fact that the number of available parking spaces in Zone I, II, III, IV, VI and VII of Student Halls of Residence has not been fully utilised by the applications submitted to date, I am introducing the supplementary procedure set out below for the application and granting of entitlement to use parking spaces in Zone I, II, III, IV, VI and VII of Student Halls of Residence at TUL in the winter semester of the academic year 2021/22.

  1. Only residents of I, II, III, IV, VI, VII Halls of Residence who are the owners or co-owners of the vehicle or users of the vehicle owned by a member of the student's immediate family (e.g. wife, parent, sibling) may apply for a parking space. The vehicle that is the subject of the application must have a valid registration certificate.

  2. A person applying to use a parking space on campus C may not simultaneously apply for entitlement to use a parking space on campus A or B.

  3. The process of determining the list of students qualified to use public student parking spaces is organized and conducted by the Organization Committee of the Student Self-Government of Lodz University of Technology.

  4. The Vice-Rector for Student Affairs of Lodz University of Technology supervises the process.

  5. The allocation of parking spaces shall be decided by public draw.

  6. Parking entitlements are granted on a case-by-case basis for a maximum of one semester.

  7. Failure to provide evidence of compliance with the requirements referred to in paragraph 1 or failure to pay the required fee in a timely manner at any stage of the certification procedure shall result in the unconditional cancellation of the application or in immediate forfeiture of the granted privileges.

  8. A person applying for a parking space shall submit an application to the Organization Committee of the Student Self-Government of Lodz University of Technology only in the form of an electronic form available at:

  1. The application should be submitted in the period from 01/10/2021 to 06/10/2021 at 23:59.

  2. Persons who have submitted correctly completed applications by the deadline shall be admitted to the draw for entitlements.

  3. On October 7, 2021, the Organization Committee of the Student Self-Government of Lodz University of Technology will conduct a public drawing of allowances in the number equal to the number of previously unused places.

  4. The list, ranked in order of drawing, will become the basic list of persons qualified to receive parking space entitlements.

  5. In addition, 60 people will be drawn at random to create a reserve list arranged in the order they were drawn.

  6. The primary and reserve lists will be published, respecting the regulations on personal data protection, by means of an announcement by the President of the Student Self-Government of Lodz University of Technology.

  7. Both lists, primary and reserve, of qualified persons will be forwarded to the Property Management Office of Lodz University of Technology.

  8. Entitlement to use the parking space will be granted by the Property Management Office of Lodz University of Technology, no earlier than 8 October 2021.

  9. Activation of a particular entitlement will take place upon payment of the required fee at the dedicated deposit machines located on Campus C. This fee should be paid by 16 October 2021.

  10. If a person on the primary list does not use up their entitlement, those on the reserve list will become eligible in the order in which they were drawn.

  11. The Student Self-Government Organization Committee will inform the persons from the reserve list about the possibility of obtaining entitlements, the obligation and the deadline for paying the fee.

  12. In the period 1 - 8 October 2021, the entry and use of parking spaces in Zones I, II, III, IV, VI and VII of the Student Halls of Residence in Lodz by persons applying by the deadline specified in paragraph 9 will be on a payable basis, on the basis of a parking ticket collected at the entrance to the parking zone.

§ 5

  1. The other permanent general rules for the granting of entitlements to the use of parking spaces as set out in the Announcement of the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs dated 17 September 2021 shall remain in force.

  2. The rules set out in the Announcement shall enter into force on the date of publication.
