§ 1
I hereby deem the following courses and classes from outside the study program as compulsory for students to pass within the study plan during the 1st semester of the 1st year of studies for all majors of the first- and second-cycle, full-time and part-time studies in the academic year 2021/2022:
- Library training classes. The classes are organized and conducted by the Main Library of Lodz University of Technology.
- Classes concerning the rights and duties of a student. The classes are organized and conducted by the Student Government of Lodz University of Technology in cooperation with the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland.
- Classes concerning occupational health and safety rules.

- I hereby deem Scientific information management course classes as classes from outside the study program, compulsory for students to pass within the study plan of relevant majors in the academic year 2021/2022, both for full-time and part-time first-degree studies, according to the list included in the table below.

§ 3
1. Classes referred to in § 1 and § 2 are not assigned any ECTS points.
2. Classes referred to in § 1 and § 2 are included in the student periodic achievement form and compulsory to pass, which will be documented with a “pass” entry.
3. Passing classes referred to in § 1 and § 2 is subject to rules established in the Study Regulations.
4. Not passing classes referred to in § 1, section 1 and 2, and in § 2, results in not being granted promotion in the given year of study and a lack of full registration for the next year of study.
5. Not passing classes referred to in § 1, section 3 within the deadline determined by the vice-dean for student affairs may, in accordance with § 22, section 4 of the Study Regulations, result in removing a student from the list of students during the given academic year due to a lack of participation in compulsory classes.
