Both Lodz University of Technology and Anwim S.A. care about ecology by engaging in scientific projects and activities for sustainable development. Lodz University of Technology is introducing many innovative technologies, including developing a 'green campus'. Anwim S.A. at the MOYA petrol station chain is introducing innovations such as photovoltaic panels, heat pumps, BMS systems and others to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

According to Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik, Rector of Lodz University of Technology

- The activities undertaken as a result of the signed agreement will bring many benefits to students and the university. The support of high-class managers from Anwim will accelerate the implementation of innovative projects and R&D work.

The Rector drew attention to the continuous improvement of the educational process at TUL and the fact that the cooperation agreement will enable the best possible preparation of graduates for the challenges of the labour market. Cooperation is planned, among other things, in the following areas: organising internships for students and researchers, creating new courses for specialists who will find employment in the Anwim Group, conducting practical classes by the company's employees. It is also possible to support Anwim in obtaining funding for research.

The President of the Management Board of Anwim S.A. Rafał Pietrasina, believes that the pro-environmental projects of the students of Lodz University of Technology have great development potential.

- Every idea, even the best one, requires business support to see the light of day and we can offer this support. Businesses and universities can successfully complement each other, creating added value for the economy and society, said the President.

Lodz University of Technology's student projects include work on the use of wind energy for individual users, as well as developing awareness of renewable energy. The cooperation between Lodz University of Technology and Anwim S.A. envisages the company's support for projects already implemented by the university, as well as the initiation of new ones.
