The athlete proved to be the best in lead climbing at the event in Lublin. He was an underdog in the competition, so no wonder that after the competition he said:
'I was totally not expecting a victory. I was pretty tired after the Friday competition. I did much better than I had anticipated. Everyone was extremely well-prepared for the AMPs and the final route was, in my opinion, even more difficult than at the regular national championships.’
